Transport, Highways, and Access

The development takes a sustainable approach to transport. The site is well-served by Edgware Station and several bus stops around the town centre, allowing for easy and accessible connections to the wider area, including central London.

The site will promote active travel through the creation of functional cycling and walking routes, including through Forumside Yard and Telephone Way. These routes have the potential to integrate with Ballymore’s development, once those plans are further progressed.

Vehicular access will be for service vehicles, emergency vehicles, drop-offs, pick-ups and those requiring disabled access (for which a limited number of blue-badge bays will be provided). Robust assessments will be produced to accompany the planning application to ensure access for fire engines and other emergency vehicles is in accordance with relevant legislation and planning policies.
